New Executive Chef at Canoe Club
We are pleased to introduce our new Executive Chef, James Bosco. James comes to us with plenty of experience. He was recognized by “Who’s Who in America” in 1995. In June of 2000, he was a Johnson & Wales High School Contest State Winner. From September 2000 to May 2003, he was employed at Josiah’s Café at Brown University, Providence Rhode Island. In 2002, he earned an Associate’s Degree in Culinary Arts from Johnson & Wales University, Providence RI. James was on the Dean’s List every semester and finished his studies with a 3.50 GPA. He was employed at Twigs Restaurant and Café in Tunkhannock from June 2003 until August 2009 where he began as a Sous Chef and worked his way up to Kitchen Manager and Executive Chef. His most recent employer was Schiff’s in Scranton.

James is a very ambitious individual. His objective "to utilize my abilities and experience of managing a team making special variety food dishes in a professional and rewarding kitchen environment..." He is a talented culinary artist with plenty of training and experience. He is a great addition to our club. Please take time to meet James and make him feel welcome.
