The Board of Directors of the Scranton Canoe Club is pleased to announce a new initiative designed to attract new members!
New members accepted under this plan will be placed in a new membership classification, Interim Membership, as described below.
Applications for Interim Active Membership will be accepted until such time that the membership limitations as established by the by-laws of the Scranton Canoe Club have been met.
New members accepted under this plan pay dues, food service minimum, and any assessment equivalent to Active Members.
New members accepted under this plan must pay a $500 Initiation Fee.
New members accepted under this plan must sign a Membership Commitment with an obligation to pay monthly dues for 5 years from date of acceptance.
All other Membership Classifications and Members currently on Initiation Fee payment plans remain the same.

INTERIM MEMBERSHIP
Interim members shall consist of men or women who have selected membership in accordance with Plan D (as described). Interim Members shall have the privileges and responsibilities of the Club House and Grounds as set forth by the Board of Directors for Active Members but shall not have the right to vote or to hold office on the Board of Directors for three consecutive calendar years from the date of membership acceptance. Interim Membership is automatically transferable to Active Membership upon completion of three consecutive calendar years and will be granted all rights, privileges and responsibilities of Active Membership.
